The actress hit the red carpet yesterday, Jan. 4, ahead of the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, and between her pregnancy glow and shimmering silver gown, she could not have looked brighter. According to Fashionista, the glittering gown, which gave off the appearance of shards from broken mirrors, was designed by Michael Kors. The spaghetti strap, sequined, floor-length gown also featured a deep v-neck and was accessorized with bejeweled earrings, bangles, and a choker. The mom-to-be, who announced her pregnancy just last month while hosting Saturday Night Live, went on to win the award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Jordan Peele’s Nope. During her emotional acceptance speech, Palmer called performing “all [she’s] ever known.” She continued, saying. “My parents introduced me to performing as a vessel to express myself. Sometimes I feel insane for how my emotions are. But this craft has never judged me.” She thanked Peele and the critics, adding, “And I’m thankful to acting for another great memory that we get to have together,” per USA Today. The star also made sure to pose with Peele, who wrote and directed the film, on the red carpet, where they shared a laugh before entering the venue. Peele wore a simple black suit over a white button-up.
