Yep, and she’s thrilled about the pregnancy. “This is the most incredible day of my life. I feel chosen,” she tweeted after the episode’s premiere. She also tearfully told her co-hosts on air, “I think the reason it’s such a big deal is because Jeezy made me realize that I’ve never really felt safe in my life.” She said that she and Jeezy created a space where they could both feel safe, and when that happened, “all of a sudden you start having visions and dreams. And for both of us, at the same time, it would be becoming parents.” Mai told him early in their dating relationship that she wasn’t planning on having kids, and he said he already had children so that was fine. “But as we started to fall in more of this healthy love with each other, we said ‘I see having kids with you,” she said.

Are Jeannie Mai and Jeezy married?
Yes, and while Jeezy never officially went down the aisle before, it’s the second marriage for Mai. She was married to actor/producer Freddy Harteis from 2007 to 2017. She said she was too young when they got married; “he was a great guy and we tried our best, but we just weren’t compatible by the end.” Wanting kids was a major factor in the unraveling of their relationship; he wanted kids and she didn’t. As early as 2014 that difference caused problems. “He definitely seems like he wants kids, and he actually came out and said that he wants children,” an emotional Mai said at the time, tearing up on air. The issue continued to be a sticking point, and she mentioned it after their divorce. “When you physically see how a man is with a child, and if the man really desires to be a father, and you know that you are that block between that happening, you just don’t feel right about yourself every single day,” she revealed, again on air, in 2018. Are Jeannie Mai and Jeezy still together?
Yes! Mai announced that they were engaged on March 27, 2020. Mai had been planning to take Jeezy to her native Vietnam to introduce him to her homeland properly, but COVID-19 changed that. While they were in quarantine, Jeezy cooked up the idea to give Mai a special Vietnamese experience in their home. He invited her to “Vietnam” in their living room, complete with arranged authentic Vietnamese dishes for her. He then played a slideshow of the two of them before getting down on one knee and popping the question in front of the fireplace. “I completely froze because I could not believe that he did this!” Mai said in glee, describing the experience on her YouTube show Hello Hunnay. She believes that Jeezy, or “Jay” as she calls him, planned to propose in Vietnam during their trip but didn’t let COVID-19 stop the proposal. “Jay is my soulmate,” she said happily. Exactly a year later, in 2021, the couple announced that they’d secretly gotten married on March 27 with only family and friends present. The wedding was in part because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “After Jeezy’s mother unexpectedly passed, we quickly learned that life is too short. And at the end of the day, Jeezy and I really just wanted to become husband and wife,” Mai explained. “So we decided to turn our original wedding into a mini-mony, where we exchanged our vows in front of our immediate family and a few close friends.” Mai wore a nude-colored Galia Lahav gown with a 15-foot veil. Jeezy wore a champagne blush tux.
